What Christmas is really about

What Christmas is really about...........um, what is it about,, oh yea and it's not about presents. It's about Jesus being born and dying for us on the cross and us being able to ask for forgiveness when we sin. Yea, presents are nice and most of us are even lucky we get them at all. So all I'm asking is that you remember what I told you!

Second to Last

Oh man this is my second to last basketball game. I don't want the season to end,basketball is so fun but soon it will be horseback riding time.YEA.Also No since basketball's ending soon.

Basketball

Today we had another game! This is our second game and we won both!We have a game every Saturday and last week we were against red shirts and they were easy we won 11 to 3! But then we had the maroon shirts and they were harder we barley won 7 to 6. Our team really works hard to win and have fun and in case your wondering were black shirts and our team name is Wake Forest and were UNDEFEATED

Grandma's Surprise

A few day's ago I was on the phone with Grandma asking her what she was doing for her birthday she said nothing really just going out to eat with Papa. I usually go trick or treating with my Mom's family but they were busy so I went with my Dad but he didn't feel like going trick or treating so we thought and he said how bout we surprise grandma for her birthday and I said that sounds funner than trick or treating anyway so since she was doing nothing and we were doing nothing I surprised her by visiting her and she Loved it!!!!!!!

Sick

Here I am second week at school and already sick. I went to school today not felling good after an hour I told my teacher and he let me go to the nurse to check my temperature it was 99.9 so daddy came and picked me up because you can't go to school with temperature so here I'm now writing this to you! Please Lord help me heal my body.

Leroy the Lion!!

At the fair they always have a show of an animal and this year it was a Lion and Tiger show!!!!The Tiger is trained and the trainer knows what to do so it's not dangerous for them but for us it is. It was really cool and daring!!!!!!!

The Open Door Tour

We visited the open door and Grandma's friend, Lois, took us on a tour, we learned all about it and what it's for. The Open Door is where Homeless people stay. They get free clothes and free food and a place to sleep, but during the day they need to go out and find a job, then come back for lunch, then dinner, then bed.The worker's volunteer, people donate food and clothes. It was very interesting.
Thank you Lord for having a place for homeless people can stay.

Fair Week

We went to the fair in midland! And this was a fun ride I don't remember what it was called.

This ride was kinda for baby's but oh well it was fun! this was the Caterpillar Roller coaster.

And now the heart of the fair the marry go round. I go on this ride no matter how old I am it's fun.

The swings they go high and fast but fun in the sun!

These were so fast and Furious but they were so cool!!


Then before we went Papa gave us money to eat at McDonald's! Yummy! And that was our day at the fair!! Just a day of fun in the sun!

Just discovering frogs at Grandma's.

There are always frogs at Grandma's but I've never seen one until today. I held it in my hand, then I dropped it to play. I thought I was just lucky and there were no more but then I saw another, then another,then another! So I showed Grandpa all the frogs I found and he got me a bucket for me to put all of them in and I put leaves and sticks in it and rocks so it was like a home for them. But then when dinner came I let them go and I decided I would find more tomorrow and do the same thing.

Thank you Lord for creating wonderful animals that we can love.

My week at Camp

Wow!! I just had an awesome week at Camp Geneva!! Camp Geneva is a huge Christian camp in Holland, MI. I went for three days with my best friend Rachael!! I went August 6,7,8!! So I got there at 8:45 a.m. and I signed in. Then I got a name tag to where I would stay and I kept track of my money to spend there. So after I got my name tag I went to my cabin and I got there and it was so nice!!! They had carpet on the floors and the bunks for us to sleep on and a bathroom in the same room and showers for us . We had a nice cabin so after i put my stuff in my cabin i went to breakfast.

craft. So i had so much fun !!
I thank the Lord for letting me go to camp and letting me be more in touch with God!

Favorite Cousins

Haleigh and I are at the Nature Center and we are at the River Trail. We are like favorite Cousins because even it's a three hour drive from me to her I see her all the time!

At nana's house

I'm at my my Nana's house and today's been a pretty crazy day because went out to eat with my Nana's friends at taco bell then my Nana volunteered to help at a place where you can look up your ancestors or read old newspaper's from a long time a go! So we stayed there a couple hours then we went to Walmart to get me and Bella some shoe's and new pj's and...carpi pants also we went to get dinner then we had to go back to the place that me Nana volunteered at because she left her cane there!! next we went to the library to get a book and I got Allie Finkle's Rules For Girls. Finally we went home and had dinner then played a couple games on the computer and now I'm writing this well it's 10:20 I better head to bed see you all later.

Thank you Lord for fun times at Grandparent's houses and for Grandparent's they are very special to me.

Playing Basketball

I love basketball I was on a team last year and grandma and papa know that so they got a hoop at a garage sale and i love it so Haleigh and I were playing basketball and it was fun. Thank you Lord for Basketball and sports for people to have fun with!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

Happy Father's day to all the father's in world. I am at my grandma's celebrating Father's day with my daddy And I got him a book called 90 Minutes In Heaven and a card for father's day! I also made him his favorite breakfast an omelet so I hope all the guy's that our Father's have a magnificent father's day!!

KIDS HEALING KIDS

Have you heard of kids healing kids? I'm in it and what you do is sing for kids that have cancer when they're in bed and they hear you sing on a tape and it makes them feel better apparently! I like to do nice things for people so I do it. Last Thursday night we had a performance at a hotel and all the people there had cancer and survived. That's what we do and I have been doing it since third grade! It is actually third to fifth so I will be ending next year bye got to go!

This morning Haleigh and I were bored so we decided to make a cake! We also decided that no one else could come in the kitchen or no one could watch or no one could help us! we are going to take it to church for other people to eat it. while we were waiting for the timer we went outside and helped papa and daddy stand up logs to split.

Bedtime Story

Yesterday Bella and I wanted to play with Haleigh so we called but they said '' We are going to a movie called Bedtime Story but they can come with us''. We said '' OK '' but one problem we were going to have a Tea party that day! So after the movie we had our Tea party.(Which I will write about later) But the movie was not until 2:25 so before aunt Jessica took us out to eat we all had different restaurant at the mall. Then the movie came!
